Fire Meters

Fire Danger Meters greatly assist fire fighting by providing an estimate of fire spread and its intensity. Whilst these meters provide an estimate based on tried and trusted meters, it is important to remember that extreme weather conditions may result in severe fire behaviour which is well above the Meter's indication.

The meters available on this site are JavaScript exercises and though they have been tested no guarantees regarding the accuracy of the calculations are made.
