The Lake George Zone comprises the Queanbeyan City and Palerang Shire Local Government Areas, both situated between the ACT and South East coast of NSW.
It incorporates 21 brigades, including a specialised Operations Support Group, plus a well-trained Remote Area Firefighting Team (RAFT).
